As a Mobile application (iOS/Android)INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR developer at Modest Tree you will work as part of a larger team developing Augmented Reality tools and solutions that integrate with the training simulation workflow and presentation.

Depending on your aptitude you could have the opportunity to work directly with the Virtual Reality hardware and tooling as well as DevOps infrastructure and build pipelines.

Based on increased demand for our XR (extended reality) solutions that support remote work we are growing and seeking to add high-calibre, experienced software developers to our team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES 

• 5+ years of software development experience

• CSharp development experience

• Experience working with React Native

• Experience packaging and deploying 3d applications

• You've done professional or hobbyist work using 3D game engines, like Unity and Godot

• A good understanding and the ability to apply 3D and vector math

• Comfortable working with multiple distributed systems

• 3+ years developing mobile applications for iOS and Android

• Solid coding skills in an object-oriented language

• Solid debugging and problem-solving abilities

• Solid understanding of Git

• Good mobile and responsive UI/UX skills

• Passion for learning new technologies, and the ability to learn quickly on your own

• Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems

• Python coding experience

• Team leadership experience or an interest in leadership and management

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working in an integral role of enhancing, creating and maintaining applications for web and mobile friendly development, testing and deployment.

• Consistently write, translate, and code products according to specifications and best practices

• Identity and resolve bugs efficiently

• Assist in identifying, defining and documenting development requirements and specifications

• Assist in quality assurance activities

• Research emerging application development software applications, products, languages and standards in support of development efforts

Compensation is based on the level of knowledge and experience. We offer a health/dental benefits plan and flexible work hours.
