We are looking for an organized, self-motivated, and passionate Project Manager to play a key role in growing our company by coordinating our various diverse project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope. You will work closely with our development and sales teams to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. A successful candidate will be able to effectively organize and manage their time, as well as communicate effectively with a variety of teams and individuals in order to coordinate technology projects of various sizes and types. You will also enjoy working with other professionals in many areas of business and development who believe in creating innovative solutions to solve difficult technology problems for our clients to fit within our tight-knit and collaborative culture.

  • Collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle;

  • Define effective process to develop projects through their full lifecycle;

  • Assist defining project scope and objectives, involving clients and ensuring technical feasibility;

  • Ensure quality processes and standards are followed, documented, maintained, and accessible;

  • Collaborate across teams and create alignment between development team and business stakeholders to achieve business and client objectives;

  • Manage and track client business deliverables within an Agile business methodology;

  • High level of accountability to drive deliverables and meet deadlines;

  • Explain the company product offerings, services, and competitive advantages to clients;

  • Write client proposals or respond to RFPs;

  • Have strong leadership skills to motivate staff members and come up with innovative problem-solving solutions for day-to-day business challenges;

  • Oversee projects to ensure that they stay on-course in terms of schedule, budget, and other duties associated with the end goals of projects;

  • Must be proficient at working with a number of technologies and at keeping up with the ever-changing field of information technology;

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to visit client sites;

  • Other tasks as required.

  • Minimum of 3 years project management work experience, preferably for technology solutions;

  • PMP preferred and a significant asset;

  • Experience in a leadership role on a project team, working collaboratively with team members to meet project goals;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • At least 5 years of experience in a client-facing role;

  • Experience in Agile teams;

  • Good decision making skills;

  • Team-building skills;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure;

  • Committed to excellence in work quality and critical attention to detail; and

  • Demonstrated strength in time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.

  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent;

  • At least 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in managing technology/software products;

  • Knowledge of and proficiency in project management software tools and techniques;

  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management;

  • Currently holding or ability to obtain Canadian Government security clearances.
